Resume making

10 points to make a great Resume

  1. 1 Keep it brief — ideally 1–2 pages.
  2. 2 Clear job title — use a clear job title below your name.
  3. 3 Professional summary — write a 2–3 line professional summary at the top.
  4. 4 Tailor it to each job — do not send one generic resumé.
  5. 5 Keywords — use keywords from the job description naturally.
  6. 6 Show achievements — show achievements, not only responsibilities.
  7. 7 Quantifiable results — add numbers and results: sales growth, people trained, targets achieved, costs saved.
  8. 8 Simple formatting — use simple formatting: one column, readable font, clear headings.
  9. 9 Avoid decorations — avoid tables, photos, graphics, and fancy designs so ATS systems can read it properly.
  10. 10 Proofread carefully — no spelling mistakes, wrong dates, or outdated contact details.

Sales person tips

Ten practical tips to be a good salesperson

  1. 1 Know your product deeply — understand its features, benefits, limitations, price, comparisons, and the specific problems it solves so you can speak with confidence.
  2. 2 Research the customer — research the customer before the conversation. Learn their role, business, likely priorities, and pain points to make your approach relevant rather than generic.
  3. 3 Ask open-ended questions — ask thoughtful, open-ended questions (e.g. “What is the biggest challenge with your current solution?”) to reveal needs better than a long product pitch.
  4. 4 Listen more than you speak — give the buyer space to explain, avoid interrupting, and use their own language when you explain your solution.
  5. 5 Sell value — sell value, not just features or discounts. Connect each feature to an outcome the customer cares about: time saved, improved results, reduced risk, convenience, or revenue.
  6. 6 Be honest — keep every promise. If the product is not the right fit, say so; credibility creates repeat orders, referrals, and long-term relationships.
  7. 7 Prepare for objections — respond without becoming defensive. Acknowledge the concern, clarify it with a question, and respond with relevant evidence, examples, or alternatives.
  8. 8 Use a consistent sales process — set clear stages: prospecting, discovery, presentation, objection handling, close, follow-up, and track your activity.
  9. 9 Follow up professionally — many sales are not closed in the first interaction. Send useful information, agree on a next step, and stay visible without becoming intrusive.
  10. 10 Learn from every result — review both wins and losses: what worked, where the customer disengaged, and what to improve. Seek feedback from top performers.
